the background is dark, and the rays of light are in the upper left corner of the painting. the hair is short and curley on the child and can be either male or female, hence the use of the word night shirt rather than night gown. The words Ricca-Gobelin are some type of identifier, as well as Betendes Madchen. I need the colors in order to complete the screened needlepoint that was given to me, as there is no colorchart for me to follow.
